STUDIO FACILITIES: 5/5
I was recommended Fhitting Room by a few people and as well the studio came up top 5 HIIT classes when I searched on the internet so I had to try it out! The strength training circuit based class incorporated a lot of nontraditional movements which was awesome because variety when working out is major key.
We did three different circuits which were all different in length (e.g 1min work/20sec rest x 6 exercises, 7min pyramid circuit: 50,40,30,20,10 sets). There was a mix of body weight and weighted movements, a lot of the exercises we did were pretty unique not just the standard basic exercises – its always awesome to learn new movements and incorporate it into my own training!
They also incorporated cardio as well with rowing and a few jump variations (squat jump, side box hop). Needless to say it lived up to my expectations and the studio/instructors were on point, motivating and super friendly – I actually keep in touch with Mark he is awesome, check out one of his classes!
In terms of the facility, they have access to showers and change rooms in the bottom part of the studio. It was very clean and spacious. They also provide you with anything you may have left behind i.e moisturizing cream, blow dryers, shampoo etc. I felt comfortable getting ready for the rest of my day here which is always a huge plus. Will definitely be coming back here in future visits to NYC!
