TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE

  • Healthy Habits & You for 2023

    Kelsey Hergott |

Ok team, 2023 is it. It’s ours. It’s the one that’s going to bring real change, real growth, real focus, and real momentum. Whatever that may look like to you; because what we’re not going to do is set unrealistic goals and expectations that just result in us feeling bad about ourselves. That’s so last year. So, instead, let’s give ourselves some grace and adopt habits that are more human; more humane, more us.

  • Holiday Gift Guide: Wellness Edition

    Kelsey Hergott |

Gift giving is my personality trait. You know how some people love to receive the world’s best present? I’m the one who loves giving it. Putting extreme amounts of thought into the perfect piece, obsessing over making it the right amount of personal and functional, fixating on every detail so it instills a core memory… I live for it. So as you can imagine, when this time of year comes around, I am absolutely thriving.

  • 5 Ways to Get Motivated for Your Next Workout

    Kelsey Hergott |

When fitness is your full-time career, your own workout can get put on the back burner. Between filming video series’ and working with one-on-one clients, it can seem like a daunting task to want to get my own sweat in by the end of the day. That’s why I began to implement little tricks and practices when it comes to pushing myself to get that pump in for nobody else but myself, because I know how grateful I am that I did after the fact.

  • The Importance of a Morning Vibe Check

    Kelsey Hergott |

I truly believe that the way you begin your day sets the tone for the way your day plays out. But I get that it can feel like a lot of pressure if you’re not sure what works best for you as soon as you wake up, which can ultimately result in putting off creating those habits and routines that will work.

  • Getting Back into a Routine that Refuels

    Kelsey Hergott |

    New Season, New Habits.

I’ve been dreading writing this post all Summer, simply because it’s a sign of the times (any Harry Styles fans in the room?). It’s a sign that Fall is nearly here, Autumn is just weeks away, and I can’t help but feel an overwhelming feeling of “not yet!”.

But when I dig a little deeper, and stop getting stuck on the things I can’t control, I instead decide that this is a time to celebrate. It’s a time for opportunity; to renew, reset, readjust and realign. Because no matter what your Summer looked like (hopping through Europe for most of Instagram, it seemed), there’s a pretty good chance you might’ve slipped away from the stability and routine of your everyday habits.

  • Vacation: A Balancing Act You Can Master

    Kelsey Hergott |

You guys know I’m all about living a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Whether that means getting your steps in on your way to dinner with the girls, or letting yourself order dessert because restrictions aren’t in my vocabulary, balance is key. In past posts we’ve talked about how to eat out healthily, how to enjoy your summer without feeling insecure, the art of balanced patio hopping, and more when it comes to staying on track while also living your life.

  • Healing on Your to Self-Love

    Kelsey Hergott |

With summer comes a seasonal wardrobe swap that can spark more dread than excitement in most. From weddings with slinky silk bridesmaid dresses you really wish you didn’t have to wear, to sweltering days at the beach that call for next to nothing bathing suits, your body is certainly on display more than it is the other 7 months of the year.

  • The Power of Powering Down

    Kelsey Hergott |

Why listening to your body means more than a power nap. One of the most common questions I’m asked is how to listen to your body. The concept is so popular in the wellness community, yet it seems like very few people actually know how to actually do it! Because let’s face it, between holding down a 9-5, cooking meals, cleaning, sticking to a regular workout routine, and trying to keep a social circle, life can quickly become a lot to say the least.

  • Patio Hopping with Your Health In Mind

    Kelsey Hergott |

I’m trying to contain my excitement here… But ladies and gentlemen, it’s here! Finally we can step out into the world and set up camp on a patio under a shining sun, surrounded by music, friends, and good vibes that last all day. I can’t help but feel a boost in my mood when dining al fresco becomes a thing again. After all, we wait all winter for this moment – we deserve it! When social calendars start to build up with the sunny seasons, I get more and more questions about how to dine out while keeping yourself and health in mind. Which is totally fair, given the hidden healthy menu items a lot of restaurants can try and trick you with. Sorry, Diet Pepsi, looking at you here.

  • Spring Cleaning: What else you should be tidying this time of year

    Kelsey Hergott |

Each new season brings a feeling of refreshed renewal, but especially Spring.

Everyone starts to come out of hibernation; the neighbour you didn’t know you had, your cute shoes that were stuck at the back of your closet, even the bears who were lucky enough to just check out for four months of the year. And if your house was anything like mine growing up, it definitely marks the beginning of the (somewhat dreaded) Spring cleaning. As soon as you saw the mop and bucket that were older than you come out, you knew it was time to get down to business.

  • How to generate health, wealth, and prosperity for yourself this year

    Kelsey Hergott |

You know those types of people who just seem to radiate good fortune? It’s like everything that comes their way is purely based on luck; everything they touch turns to gold. It’s enough to make you want to say, “Hey, leave a little for the rest of us!” But what if it’s not a so-called “lack of luck” that’s holding you back from success and turning everything you touch into gold…

  • How to Defeat the Impostor Within and Come out Thriving

    Kelsey Hergott |

If you’re new to the term, impostor syndrome basically means you’re someone who walks around feeling like a fraud, despite having the background, training, and knowledge to back yourself up. Let’s say for example you’re a professionally trained Chef, but maybe you’re a female in male-dominated industry, so you walk into work every day feeling like you’re undeserving of your title. Like you don’t belong. There are many reasons why you could be a sufferer of impostor syndrome, but many say that it’s a result of being a perfectionist or an over-achiever, therefore you never feel good enough and are always striving for more acceptance.

  • The Key to Planning: Start Small, Win Big

    Kelsey Hergott |

If you’re a planner, after yet another year of unpredictability, you might be feeling more than a little discouraged.

It’s funny, it’s often said that whenever you make plans, God laughs.

Because no matter how much time and effort you put into crafting out the picture perfect scenario, there’s one thing you lack: control.

  • 31 Ways to Gift your Mind + Body

    Kelsey Hergott |

I’m a strong believer that in order to best serve those around us and show up as the best version of ourselves every single day, we have to put ourselves first. Whether that means incorporating some meditating in your mornings, hitting up a spa every now and then, or listing out what you’re grateful for at the end of each day, focusing on your own self-care will work wonders for you (and those around you) in the long run. So whatever self-love looks like for you, here’s a list of 31 days and ways you can incorporate it into one of the busiest months of the year. I guarantee taking the time to do so will allow you to breeze through December feeling stronger, bolder, and more present wherever your schedule takes you this holiday season.

  • ‘Tis The Season for SAD

    Kelsey Hergott |

The colder weather brings a plethora of unpleasantries with it: dry skin, chapped lips, a goodbye to cute sundresses, and that old familiar friend, Seasonal Affective Disorder. Seasonal Affective Disorder might be the reason you’re taking the colder months harder than usual. It’s completely normal to feel a little down when the sunshine starts to disappear earlier and earlier, but if you routinely find yourself on the couch rewatching Gilmore Girls for the umpteenth time, then you might be suffering from the appropriately named SAD.

  • Peeling Back The Pandemic Feels

    Kelsey Hergott |

Though times are still a bit “unprecedented” (who would’ve ever thought we’d be hearing that word as much as we do today), the world is certainly starting to find its footing back into normalcy. Sure, it feels so refreshing to be able to go places and see people and hug and laugh together again. But that refreshing feeling doesn’t quite cover it all.

  • The top 5 ways to make your habits stick -- for good

    Kelsey Hergott |

September holds a certain type of nostalgia, doesn’t it? Whether you’re going back to school, sending your little ones off to the bus, or find your commute suddenly crowded with teens who are much cooler than you, there’s something about the September air that brings a sense of hustle and bustle back after the lazy, hazy days of summer.    That’s exactly why September is notoriously known as the number one time of the year when people find it tough to stick with their habits. When life has less priorities, you can always put yourself first. But when reality hits, and the…

  • How to keep hydrated this summer so you H2-GLOW!

    Kelsey Hergott |

Our bodies are made up of nearly 70% water, so naturally it’s important to maintain a certain level of hydration. Getting in your 10-11 cups of H20 each day is one of the best ways to flush your body of its toxins, keep you feeling energized, reduce hangovers, improve your physical performance, aid in weight loss, keep your skin glowing, and the list just goes on…

  • How to Keep Your Sanity On Social

    Kelsey Hergott |

Be honest, how many hours a day do you spend mindlessly scrolling through some type of social media? Learning the new TikTok dance (“learning” is a loose term here), browsing DeuxMoi for any celeb sightings near you, taking in how cool 15 year olds look today in comparison to what 15 year old you looked like (truly triggering)... The list goes on and one question remains: is it really so “mindless”?
